Ministry of National Education (MONE) in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (State Department) to provide 750 scholarships for foreign students wishing to study in Indonesia. The scholarships are intended for all international students which come from countries that have diplomatic relations with Indonesia.
Program called "Darmasiswa RI Program" aims to introduce the Indonesian language, arts, music and crafts to foreign students studying in the country. Later the participants are free to choose Higher Education (PT) which according to ability and brackish respective fields,
Here are some of the PT are provided for foreign students in education for 3-6 months:
- ISI, Yogyakarta
- ITB, Bandung
- IPB, Bogor
- Unesa, Surabaya
- Airlangga University, Surabaya
- UIN, Jakarta
- Udayana University, Bali
- UGM, Yogyakarta
- UI, Depok
Rights and obligations of participants:
- Free tuition
- Allowance, Rp2 million
- Place of residence (Participants selected to communicate to the university in finding a place to live)
- Participants must inform his arrival to the existing representative office in Indonesia to facilitate pick-up - Willing to sign a statement that given the embassy / representative before leaving for Indonesia
- Participants are required to sign a contract that awarded the National Department upon arrival in Indonesia
Schedule:
- An application form candidates submitted before the end of February 2012
- The selection was conducted in early March 2012
- The announcement will be made at the beginning of April 2012
- Confirmation of the participants, beginning in June 2012
- Arrival pesert, beginning in August 2012 (participants must reach the ground water)
- The orientation, beginning in August 2012 - Pekuliahan, September 2012 - July 2013
- Special University of Indonesia, the class began in early July 2012
- As for the Short Course Program participants, starting from August 2012 until January 2013.

Overseas Scholarship Deadline Schedule In 2012
Trends in hunting scholarships abroad is increasing among school and university students in Indonesia, especially those who live in big cities. In early 2012, it's been opened a few vacancies for the scholarship students, professionals to Indonesia. Here is a scholarship program offered to students of Indonesia and its deadline information gathered from various sources.
1. General Electric (GE) Foundation
The freshmen and sophomores of Economics, Mathematics, and Engineering of the college such as UI. UGM, IPB, ITB, UNAIR, ITS, ubuntu, UB, and UNDIP have the opportunity to enroll as a candidate for this scholarship. Registration deadline is on March 15, 2012. 2. Fulbright scholarship AMINEF
AMINEF Foundation or the American Indonesian Exhange re-opened enrollment to students, teachers, and profesial from Indonesia. In 2012 there was opened a new program that is funded Fulbright Usain Agricultural MS and Ph.D Scholarships in addition to other programs. Fulbright scholarship deadline is on 15 April 2012. 3. New Zealand-ASEAN Scholars Award (NZ-AS)
There are eight universities in New Zealand involved in the scholarship offer is open ini.Program the S2 and S3 in the field of natural disaster, geothermal, and agriculture. Deadline for 2012 scholarship program is on 11 April 2012. More details can be found at the site of New Zealand Embassy.
4. Orange Tulip Scholarship
Dutch Government offers scholarships to Indonesian citizens through this annual program. A total of six different scholarships offered to students of Indonesia, it is the Master program. 5. Graduate Degree Fellowship
Program University of Hawaii in the United States also offers a scholarship program for students S2 Indonesia who have graduated from college the field of Education, Economic, Environmental, Political and Security Affairs, and Population and Health.
